Fellow

A privacy-first social connection platform designed to reduce social risk after meeting people in real life.

Fellow brand still: two women meeting in a warmly lit restaurant with the fellow wordmark overlaid

The problem

Meeting someone IRL and turning that crossed path into a real connection is awkward, risky, and full of friction — especially for people who care deeply about safety and consent. Check out the app here.

My role

Founder, product, research, design, development, and partnerships.

Key lessons & thoughts

  • 40% of adults under 40 in the Philadelphia area report being "usually or always lonely" (U.S. Census, 2024).
  • 9 in 10 Gen Zers want to meet people in person, but over half are held back by fear of rejection from approaching strangers (Hinge dating trends report, February 2024).
  • Early testing is underway with select business partners in Philadelphia. Reach out here if you are interested in this mission.
